Our standard
Answer the search task, show the limits
Each page is built around a specific user question. We aim to provide a direct answer, practical next steps, and enough context to prevent a planning estimate from being mistaken for an official rule, medical recommendation, or guaranteed result.
Source hierarchy
- Official HYROX materials.
Use the current official event information and rulebook for divisions, loads, movement standards, penalties, venue logistics, and race-day instructions. - Established practical sources.
Use reputable coaching, training, and reporting sources to understand general preparation, technique, and common questions. - Our planning model.
The calculator uses explicit assumptions to create a training discussion point. It does not reproduce third-party results or imply official endorsement.
How content is produced
Research notes and first drafts may be AI-assisted. Publication requires human-directed editing for search intent, clarity, internal links, unsupported claims, and safety boundaries. AI output is not treated as a source by itself.
We rewrite research in our own words and do not intentionally reproduce competitor pages. Tables and rule references are treated as time-sensitive and should be checked against the current official source before use.
Updates and corrections
Pages show a review date when they receive a substantive review. We prioritize updates when official standards, event formats, or safety-critical guidance changes. A correction can change text, tables, links, metadata, or the page's stated confidence.
When a claim cannot be verified, we remove it, qualify it, or point readers to the official source. We do not preserve an attractive statistic merely because it supports the site's narrative.
Training and health boundaries
Training pages are general educational frameworks. They are not medical advice, individualized coaching, or a substitute for a qualified professional who knows an athlete's history. Stop or scale training when pain, unusual symptoms, or deteriorating movement make continuation unsafe.
